| Maybe it was just coincidence but since I only died ONCE on a Shabel Mount in my whole WonderKing playthrough, I'll post what I saw. I spectated my exp and it didn't go down one bit when I had died on a shabel mount!
As an extra, my character was making a crying sound as I died but didn't make any faces and I could move on my shabel mount too. There was a crying sound and I could keep moving on the mount until I was teleported out | |

| its just not on a shabel mount. you die on foot you sometime don't lose exp too.
